In late 2020 we searched for an RWE Process and Service Design Development Intern through a Health Tech Top Expert training programme. Katja Härkönen stood out from the many great applicants we had with her versatile experience, skills, and knowledge and she started her training at ESiOR in November 2020.
Katja is a midwife, a nurse, and a Master of Health Sciences majoring in preventive nursing science. In addition to working as a midwife, Katja has worked as an area manager within the domain of health data and quality registries. Katja chose to apply for ESiOR after exploring our references (e.g. publications, awards, personnel’s all-round expertise) and the purpose and basis of our work. Katja was convinced of our research-based efforts to develop healthcare.
During the nearly five-month training period Katja showed to be the expert person we were looking for. Katja is now a Development Manager and will continue the project she started with us. Katja, great to have you, welcome!
